So in addition to attempting to jumpstart the Wars! itself again, I'm tying to also jumpstart the old AIM chat room. Or at least something similar.
Back in the day, people would jump on AIM and invite themselves to the chatroom 'AGNP,' - it wasn't specifically for the Wars, but it held enough people from them that it felt that way at times.
Going along with the whole unsure-of-everything approach I'm taking with this, I'm wondering if I should just go start up an IRC channel somewhere. It's also been forever since I've done much OPing on IRC, and I've completely forgotten everything on how to run a channel.
What do you lot think? You're the ones who will be using this the most. Do we try and get back on AIM, or do we go IRC? I'd like AIM just for nostalgia, but IRC does offer more options.

I vote AIM for the time being. I believe all the posters registered so far use it. I'll try and keep on top of signing in, to make sure someone's in to welcome any new guys.
